    The Chosen 300 Haiti Relief

Our hearts weep with those that were affected by the devastation in Haiti and our prayers go out to those here in the US who struggle to find out the status of their loved ones.   Although we may not be able to change every circumstance we are compelled to do something.   Each year Chosen 300 gives a levitical tithe (10%) of funds received to help other missions in the area of homelessness, hunger relief and other worth wile missions; extending our work beyond where we can physically reach.   We want to take the following action as it regards to Hatti

1.  We will be partnering with the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention who has 22 churches in and around Port-au-Prince, Haiti.   In addition Lott Carey has missionaries on the ground that can assess and assist those affected by the earth quake.    Our initial donation will be $1000.

2.  One of the 52 churches in our Alliance is the Schekinah Ministries whose congregation is made up of primarily Hatian Immigrants.   In the days ahead we will be working with Pastor Stanley Bordes to see what direct support we can provide to their families.

3.  We have created a paypal link below.  Any funds received through this link will be earmarked towards Haiti Relief.   We will divide these funds between Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention & The Schekinah Ministries Project.
